We shared the 4-way test with every 2nd grader in the Alamogordo school district!! The students were read the Andy and Elmer Apple Dumpling Adventure book, given apples to snack on and a workbook for them to keep. Thank you everyone who participated in teaching these students what to think, say, and do in their daily lives.

Highway Cleanup!

Keeping our community clean and looking good is important to the Rotary Club of White Sands.  We schedule regular clean ups of our designated area (10th St. from White Sands Blvd to the Bypass) each quarter.  This past quarter we partnered the the White Sands Beautification Committee and Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center to cleanup a section of White Sands Blvd.  It was great fun and it felt awesome to partner with other groups in our community to improve the appearance of our main thoroughfare.

The Four-Way Test Essay Contest

Each year we hold a competition for local 8th graders to write an essay about the 4-way test and what it means to them and their life.  It is quite a joy to read these amazing essays and see the insight many of these young people have. Congratulations to Julianne Wiehrdt, our 2018 1st place winner of the FOUR-WAY TEST essay contest from Imago Dei Academy.
