The Four-Way Test Essay Contest

Each year we hold a competition for local 8th graders to write an essay about the 4-way test and what it means to them and their life.  It is quite a joy to read these amazing essays and see the insight many of these young people have. Congratulations to Julianne Wiehrdt, our 2018 1st place winner of the FOUR-WAY TEST essay contest from Imago Dei Academy. Highway Cleanup!

Keeping our community clean and looking good is important to the Rotary Club of White Sands.  We schedule regular clean ups of our designated area (10th St. from White Sands Blvd to the Bypass) each quarter.  This past quarter we partnered the the White Sands Beautification Committee and Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center to cleanup a section of White Sands Blvd.  It was great fun and it felt awesome to partner with other groups in our community to improve the appearance of our main thoroughfare.

This year's annual Charity Golf Tournament will help us raise funds to support our efforts to provide the Boys & Girls Club of Otero County with a new van.  The B&GC has many kids on a waiting list to join the club because of a lack of transportation, we would like to help fix that!
